I would like to express my gratitude to Lighthouse Advocacy Group and their staff! Sam Chang was amazing throughout the entire process of my modification, and he basically held my hand until I received an approval. I used many different companies in the past, and they all just took my money without any results. Since the beginning, Sam Chang and his team has been amazing to work with. I had tons of doubts and fears about Bank of America modifying my loan. For almost a year and a half, my husband and I tried working with SLS to modify our home loan, or refinance, but had no luck. I was behind my mortgage for 5 years!! When I tried doing modification with my bank, Chase they denied me couple times! My house was about to be put on foreclosure! In the past, I tried to get a loan modification by myself with my lender, Wells Fargo, but they kept giving me the “run-around” and denied me multiple times. Then one day by God’s grace, I received a flyer in the mail from Lighthouse Advocacy Group specializing in home loan modifications. I was 6 months behind on mortgage payments, and I was in danger of losing my home to foreclosure. I knew that my nephew, Sam Chang, helped homeowners save their homes, so I gave him a call. Our quest to find a company to help us out of our downward spiraling mortgage problems started in late July of 2013. We tried the Save Home Program and were denied assistance. The Doctor said it out loud, “Yes he has MS.” My wife didn’t hesitate, “How will affect his life?” “I believe his life will be about the same as normal.” They spoke as if I wasn't in the room.
