WOW!!!! Over 4 years of not having cable from Midcontinent Cable. I received a collections notice from AAA. I was wondering what was going on. So I contacted the AAA company and they said that I never paid my bill to the cable company. I than contacted the cable company and I found out that they were wrong about this and the so called debt. A total amount of 300.00 was paid to AAA Collections, Inc. in the form of money orders. I have inquired about where those payments were sent and I have yet to receive a response in regards to this issue. This includes direct compensation of 1,000.00 for violations under the FDCPA for charging interest and 300.00 that should have been applied to a medical bill that I had.
