We recently adopted a Chocolate Lab and noticed that she would scratch herself aggressively. I asked my Vet about the scratching and he didn’t have much of a remedy but just to watch her and try to discourage her from scratching. When I would come home from work, I noticed she would be bleeding from the scratching. We switched her food, shampoo, and kept her inside away from anything that could cause her allergic reactions.
