So let me just start by saying this was never going to be an easy move. Apart from the fact that it was across the country, I also happen to have a VERY large collection, I’m talking 12,000 minimum of antique books. All of which need to be temperature controlled and cared for in a very specific way. Peak Van Lines got me from Seattle to Portland — a relatively smaller out of state move but still something I didn’t want to have to deal with. Anyway, Peak was awesome. The crew they sent seemed really nice and turned out to be really reliable and they didn’t charge me some ridiculous fee. This was a good experience on the whole. Yes, one of or larger mirrors was damaged, but sometimes these things can’t be avoided and they replaced it very quickly. They are easy to work with and aren't out just for the bottom line and I would still use them again. Read More »

These are really experience movers. They do a great job of handling all your items — or at least they did a great job of handling all of my items — and took extreme care to make sure everything was well cared for and arrived not just in the same condition it left in, but on time as well. Never use them. They are a bunch of companies and all unprofessional. Each makes its money more than in contract besides rude and threatening to not deliver if those extra charges are not paid. They give low quotes but make up with these unfair dealings. Read More »

Peak Van Lines did a really good job of handling this move for us. No complaints from me or my husband what so ever. We really just want to say thank you, specifically to the guys and girls who came out to help us get this done. We have a lot of stuff and a big house and packing/moving the entire thing was certainly a daunting task, but not once did they shy away from the challenge and in the end we were able to get everything done! So we hired a Peak Van Lines to help us with her move to Seattle. My job is expanding and we were required to move for that, and we really didn’t want to have to do it all on our own. Anyway we hired these guys, and it turns out they were a real blessing. Not only did they help us move everything, but they gave us some great advice on areas to go to in Seattle and we’re just really friendly the entire time. Peak Van Lines is the “peak” of moving companies!… Sometimes I amuse myself though my wife tells me I’m not funny. This moving company is a wonderful company to go with if you need to move from Chicago or the Chicago area out of state. They are so friendly and work really hard to get everything done. Plus they listen to you and take into consideration all your specifications. In short, they did a wonderful job and I would definitely hire them again. A superior moving company when it comes to out of state moves. I’ve moved around from state to state several times but I have never experienced a moving company that operates on such a professional level as this one. They take their jobs seriously, they are obviously very practiced in what they do and they ensure their customer’s total satisfaction. Peak Van Lines did a great job getting me from Gary to Everette. They were supper professional but also easy going and handled all of my belongings with care.
