Everything about our experience with Northern Moving System was great. Wonderful people. Absolute professionalism. Fair pricing. Everything done with care. We moved out of state and our moving team hit traffic snags twice that slowed them down; meaning they would work late into the evening and get home even later. First National Van Lines moved me into my new apartment today and they were great. Arrived on time and very quick handling my items with care. I have a mobility scooter and I am able to put it in manual drive so the movers could just roll it into the truck. They lifted it and it is heavy much easier to roll it but they didn't listen. They were professional since the morning arrival till the last box was delivered. Everything was done very fast, efficient and with care. I’m not even going to get into the first half of the experience, but I’m going to walk you through the events that unfolded with the delivery, unloading and unpacking. This is our second move with First National Van Lines. We used the service last year and we didnt hesitate to contact them again this year because we did had good experience. We had excellent experience. We estimated 5 hours move with them but they make it very fast with only 4 hours. Considering we moved from a 2 BR house to 2 BR apartment, it was quick and efficient. These two movers were Amazing! They arrived early and got started, we informed them on short notice we need to make another stop that is a 5 minute drive from the original location. I was very surprised with the pricing to help us unload 2 large PODS at our new home, as other companies charged double or even triple the price. I originally had a later time during the day for the move but was contacted the day before to move up the scheduled time which worked better for me. Just overall good people. Our friends were moving on the same day and used another company. Our houses were similar size. First National Van Lines crew had us packed, moved and unloaded before our friends' house was even packed up. Moving companies charge by the hour so there will be some that purposely drag their feet.
