Do NOT hire MC Movers!! Upon moving from VA to WA, my husband and I had to hire movers for that cross country trip. As he is active duty military we could not do the move ourselves. I have filled complaints against MC Movers with the BBB and the DOT. This is a criminal organization. The "Good" reviews are fake. Take a close look at their fancy website. It's sham with a Photo Shopped picture of a moving truck (have you ever seen an MC Moving truck in real life? No you have not!) Their Facebook and Twitter links go nowhere. They responded quickly to my call, sent me a quote shortly and explained me the whole process making sure I had no questions. The truck arrived on time and they handled everything like professionals. They gave me a very good service overall. They showed up 30 min late but they are so hard working and fast that this was not a big issue at the end, instead I’m grateful that they did the whole move in a very short time and the movers were very nice to us. AVOID MC Movers LLC/Preferred Moving and Storage--inaccurate quotes, absent customer service, subcontracts jobs without customer knowledge, damaged/missing goods upon delivery. We had a TERRIBLE experience with MC Movers LLC in our move from San Francisco to Colorado. They made my life much easier from the very first call. I had no problems at all, when I talked to Mark I knew that I was making the right choice. This was my 3rd experience with this company, they always have been excellent. This time they did an outstanding job. From the very first call Norman my rep was very responsive, I got the quote and booking in record time and he was available all the time for any matter that I had. The quote I got from Mark for my two bedroom apartment was significantly lower than other 3 local companies. Once they finished unloading at my new house and left, I realized one of my bags was missing, so I called Mark, he called the foreman who quickly found it. I really couldn’t find a more helpful team, they got to pick up 5 mins before agreed time and all of them were in neat uniforms with their identification visible. They were very polite to me and my family. Moreover their planning was excellent, everything ran smoothly and as an added service they disassembled and assembled all my furniture, my rep was honest with the price since I only paid $ 50 additional for some extra packaging which was pretty fair to me. I had to deal with my huge move recently. I knew this could be very stressful and complicated due to the huge amount of items that we had and an expensive old dining table too. Despite all this, the crew did their best. They wrapped it all properly and they had packaging even for our mattresses. Nothing got damaged due to their dedicated work. These guys render A+ service. The loading crew was hard working and very easy going. It was raining on the move day and I was amazed that the movers instead of making excuses, they disassembled chairs, tables and beds very quickly, also the pieces were plastic-wrapped and loaded.
