ok service
It is an acceptable service for being able to reach rural areas with out satellite its cool. The service package I paid for is 3 gb per month speed at 65 a month. The installation was $260 an average cost. The pros- of having this vs satellite are it doesn't look as ugly on your roof as most satellites do. The gaming experience is a little bit better then satellite internet and has no cap as per usage limitations. There is no modem which makes things easy to reset when down. The cons- It's service speeds for you tube video are very slow. The 3gb I had for satellite streams videos quickly, as this is turtle speed for watching videos. I can stream videos quicker on my cell phone. The customer service is acceptable, The people I talk to for service blabbed to much about mumo jumbo I don't care about instead of getting to the point and hooking up my service.

Excellent Service
I have been a subscriber for 2 years. The connection speed and customer service has always been first class. For over 10 years I used Hughes Satellite service and paid twice as much for half the speed. Plus the Hughes Customer Service was a great strain on my patience. I recommend MojaveWiFi very highly.

Very reliable service
I have been using Mohave Wifi for more than a year now on a daily basis, to provide broadband access for my work at home. The service is extremely reliable. I can recall no more than a few hours that the service has been down in the past year, and I use it all day long on a daily basis. The broadband speed is also very consistently at least what is advertised, and often up to 20% higher. I use it for a VNC connection to a remote computer at a university for hours at a time, and if there are significant numbers of lost packets, these sessions will terminate, but I have never had a problem. Mohave Wifi provides truly professional quality broadband service, at a cost much lower than comparable services from the major telecoms.

Fantastic WiFi Service For Wonder Valley, 29 Palms and other cities
This WiFi Service is fantastic. They provide great service both in the WiFi and in their customer service. I highly recommend them if you are in an area where you have no access to Internet unless you go to satellite or through a Telco Cellular. Neither can match up to Mojave WiFi in my book.
In Wonder Valley, and I'm out a long way, I can get 3MB download and 2MB upload which is far better than any other service I have had here in the desert. If you want excellent service go to MojaveWiFi.com and sign up. You won't regret doing so.

Mojave Wifi is Great!
We have lived in what I call a dead zone, unable to get DSL or cable for the last 8 years and limited to dial up. With Mojave WIFI we are suddenly re-connected to civilization and greatly appreciate the service even after just 5 days.

Great service
I have used their competitions service and even at lower speeds Mojave has way better service. Its a robust system and their 1mbps system out-performs the competitions 10mbps system. Hands down.

We had been using HughesNet Satellite internet service for 11 years. There simply was no other option, given our remote desert location! In those 11 years, we had constant problems. We never got the dl/ul speeds they promised. We had defective equipment more times than I can count. Their customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. I spent many many hours talking to tech support in Bombay. It is one of the worst corporations out there, period! So you can imagine my delight when I heard that Mojave WiFi was available in my area! I was skeptical at first but then 2 of my friends got it and raved about it so I figured, what the heck, it can;t be any worse than HN! That was about 2 months ago and I am happy to say switching was the best thing we could have done! I wish they were here 10 years ago!! I am on the 49.00 plan and my internet speed is so fast, we can now efficiently run 3 computers at the same time off the router and there is no lag time! We can now stream Netflix and other high volume things and not be penalized by "Fair Use Policy". My son is a computer gamer (WoW) and his games require a fast connection. He always had trouble with HN. It would cut out in the middle of a game or be incredibly slow. Mojave Wi-Fi is everything a gamer could want! (with the higher speed package) The customer service is great! It is so nice to talk to a local and I really love the fact that it is a family owned business and we are keeping jobs in AMERICA! (and my town!) I highly recommend this internet service!!!

Absolutely the best option if you aren't in a cable area. I was tethering with my iPhone on AT&T and my bills were HUGE. These guys have great customer service and it just plain works. I bought the 512 Kbps package but actual speed is around 720 Kbps. Highly recommended !

I've been a broadband wireless customer of MojaveWiFi for about 10 months. I am 100% satisfied with their service. I've found my connection to be extremely reliable. The few times early on that the service went down the technicians were on it immediately and worked, day or night, to get the problem solved. They quickly worked out the few kinks of their new equipment in our area, and I've had zero problems with the service going down since.
As well, the staff is a pleasure to work with: professional, courteous, responsive, and COMPETENT. They respond quickly, always get back to me as promised, and always go the extra mile. I telecommute for a living and DEPEND on my Internet connection. The staff know that and go out of their way to make sure I have no worries. This kind of hands-on, personalized service is rare these days. With MojaveWiFi I feel absolutely confident, and I am frankly really grateful they've come into our community.
I recommend MojaveWiFi to my rural desert neighbors without hesitation, and everyone I know who has engaged them seems very satisfied.

Hello; I have been with Mojave WiFi now for several months and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! I have experienced other internet service providers such as Flashbyte, and tried to use my wireless phone as a modem, and let me tell you, NO JOY! The other companies were down more than up, and was expected to pay the monthly fee either way. To find an ISP that is offered in the desert area, and works is worth its weight in gold.
I run a business from my home, and trying to function with unreliable internet was difficult at best, so finding Mojave WiFi is nothing short of a blessing. Since I have had Mojave WiFi, I have never once had an issue that couldn't be resolved instantaneously. I have only good things to say about their customer service. When you need to speak to someone right away regarding internet issues, it sure is a pleasure to get through to the experts. Also, I am enjoying Netflix for the first time, so bye bye Directv, too...

After two years of using a cellular broadband card for internet access to to my remote residence I happened to see a sign for Mojave WiFi and decided to give them a call. I have to say that the service provided is far above what we received from our cellular company. Network downtime is rare, the price of equipment is fair and the monthly costs are very low, and no two year contract! I recommend this company to all of my family and friends in the desert area due to Mojave WiFi's great service and reliability. The connection is fast enough to allow me to run Xbox Live and Netflix, two services I could not use with my broadband card due to low connection speed and monthly data caps.

I have had, dial-up, satellite, and have used a broadband stick. They all said the service was unlimited...which it wasn't. So far we have had great speeds even with two laptops, one desktop and an XBox using live. I love the service and wouldn't change for any reason.

These guys are the greatest. They came when they said they would. Did a professional job of installation. Checked everything to make sure it worked properly. Set up our TV for internet streaming. I couldn't be happier. Everything works like a charm, all the time. I recommend them to everyone.

At last...A reliable Internet provider in the hi-desert area. We are extremely pleased with the service we are receiving from Mojave WiFi. We are now able to steam Netflix and watch videos on our computer without the buffering problem we were having with another provider in the area. The installation was extremely well done, and so far so good. Our service is really fast and really reliable.
The folks who run Mojave Wifi are very responsive to their customers needs, another big big plus and when we first called them they were also really upfront about all the costs associated with setting up the service, how the service works and what to expect of the service. Very transparent. And really well priced too.
I would highly recommend Mojave Wifi to anyone. We feel we have finally found a great Internet provider.

I live in a rural area and had satellite internet for over 10 years and it was horrible!!!
I heard about Mojave Wifi and called them. They just finished the installation of their broadband service and I love it. Faster than any satellite or data card connection. This is by far the best internet experience I have ever had. :)

Over a year now and its still awesome..Flashbyte still sucks..
2 months of service so far and its Excellent service compared to the options in the area...very fast...No lag time like the Satellite competitors...professionally run business with friendly and helpful installers and staff...WIFI type service has some limitations tho taking that into acct..this has been a pleasurable experience..rarely a glitch..fast response time to queries..extremely pleased and highly recommended..Ive tried all the options in this very rural area and this one blows them all away...ADDENDUM..OVER A YEAR AND A HALF OR SO AND STILL THE BOMB..BEST THING I EVER DID WAS SWITCH FROM FLASHBYTE..

Working from home, I depend heavily on my access to the internet for email, web conferences, and to perform research on prospective clients. Reliability and speed are two attributes I evaluate when selecting my ISP.
Living in a remote area, my choices for broadband providers have been limited. For 6 years, I have suffered through satellite internet providers with their speed issues and Fair Access Policies (FAP) which limit the amount I can download and upload per month.
Recently, I came across MojaveWifi and called them to get some additional information. After my first conversation, I was impressed with how I was treated right away. The person on the other end of the phone was very transparent and answered all of my questions/concerns. Within a few days their installers were here at my house getting me setup. Installation was professionally handled and all the paperwork was thoroughly explained to me.
In the time since the service has been installed, I have experienced 100% reliability and the speed of downloading/uploading is FAST. There is no FAP and I don't need to worry about how much I am using and if I be cut off if I exceed my monthly allotment. Anytime I have requested anything from them, their staff has responded quickly and to my satisfaction.
Best of all, their service is VERY competitively priced. I am paying MojaveWifi half of what I was paying my satellite provider and getting much faster and more reliable service.
I have been recommending MojaveWifi to all my friends in the area who in the past have had to settle on slow internet at high prices.
The staff at MojaveWifi could show others in their market space the right way to do it.
