I am a new home owner who had A & R Home Inspections company recommended to for inspections and home warranty. I contacted them to inquire about repairs that needed to be made to my roof, and after a few minutes, the owner/ president, Raymond Tavares, cursed at me and hung up the phone. I had to resort to calling my Real Estae Agent in order to get the repiars considered or looked at, and after several delays by A&RHI they informed that the repairs would be incomplete and no guaranty was going to be made on the craftsmanship of the repairs. A follow up phone call to the owner/ president, Raymond Tavares, was no different on the phone. I tried to level with him and I felt like I was speaking with some thug who was trying to bully his customers. Unfortunately, this company will probably continue to be recommended to other would be home buyers, and unless they read this are in for a rude awakening.
It is my opinion, that this company charges sellers for a warranty that they don't expect to uphold. It is also, my opinion that customers should never be cursed at over the phone and disrespected in the manner that I was. This company has been in business for 4 years and has much to learn.
