Upon completion of the course materials and passing the exams I was to get a certificate immediately that I could print off to submit when renewing my license. However, when I finished taking the final exam and I requested the certificate it asked me for an additional payment of $67(even though I had already paid). I submitted a second payment and when that had processed the system gave me an error message. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how I could get the certificate so I could finish renewing my license with the certificate info. online. I called the following morning and left a message with tech support and then called again and spoke with Dina. She was very rude and told me that their systems weren't down and that she was able to see the certificate and that I should have been able to print it. I had her e-mail me a copy of the certificate which reflected a date later than when I had completed the exams. Not the date she said the certificate was available. She also informed me that if I had an error message I should have taken a screen shot and emailed it to them to prove there was an error with the system. (Even though there is nothing online that gives that direction when encountering a problem with their system). When I asked why the system had charged me a second payment of $67 she had no answer and said she would look into it. Using Allied Schools cost me $122 extra than I should of had to pay. There are tons of other great companies out there. I recommend that you save yourself any potential frustration and hassle and use another company!

Dear Arlene S., We acknowledge this enrollment into our Pay When You Pass version of the 45 hr Renewal course and due to an error, the student was in fact charged twice. Once the error was brought to our attention we expedited the refund for the duplicate charge. The 45 hr course was purchased and the student did not follow up on the renewal until the day the renewal was due, to complete the material. We are sorry to hear of the less-than-satisfactory experience this student encountered; we always strive to provide the best service and quality possible for our student. If the student is still interested in taking courses with us, please accept a 10% mark-off as an apology of the error in the duplicated charge.
