Do not use this moving company. They will suck you in by being friendly and giving you a low dollar quote compared to other companies. They will be late or not show up when they say to pick up your goods. They will add on additional weight fees and not even be able to prove why. They will also will not respond well as far as customer service. They know they have your stuff, so they basically do what they want and if you don't pay, they won't give you back your things. My original quote was for $1,900 and now we are well over 4,000. We were supposed to get a free month of storage and instead of calling me to ask me what the delivery date should be because I e-mailed them and asked them to call me because we had found an apartment, they just shipped the items here without a delivery date or an address to deliver it too. Out of the blue they called last night and said "your stuff is here". I can't get into my apartment until the end of the month. Basically if I don't pay them a bunch more money, they will keep my stuff. They know it is $100-$300 an hour to hire an attorney and small claims isn't feasible because we are in different states. Just beware before you enter into a contract with them because after further research, they have been turned in several times for bad business practice. I needed to move accross country quickly and didn't do the normal due diligence that I normally would have and am now in a situation where I may never see my things again. I have filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, hopefully they will be able to help. Also have an attorney as a backup.
