I like most homeowners attempted to resolve my housing issue by myself. In doing so fell further and further behind. Through all my frustration I was content with a foreclosure, just abandoning my home. Not knowing what to do I reached out to Amerihope. I had a conversation and they said they could help me. They had me qualified for for a Home Mod for more than $100 a month lower than what I was offered by the same mortgage company. After long debate and calculation I decided to attempt a short sale, which failed and ended with a Deed in Lieu. Through this complete process, Ruth was working with me, explaining step by step what needed to be done. I felt for the first time I had an ally against the Mortgage Companies. At the end, They accepted the DIL and I was free and clear from the house, which is a far cry better than the foreclosure that I was prepared to settle for. I am so glad I reached out to the Amerihope Alliance, and happy to have the opportunity to work with Ruth. As I stated the communication was great, the instruction was great, the comfort of knowing some one had my back helped me sleep at night.
