Review 9/9/2009
I saw an ad on TV that this company could help with loan Modifications. After the initial contact, I came to the BBB site to check them out. They were a new company with good reviews but a C rating. This was explained by them blaming the short time they have been in business. I also went to the a website that listed the companies in California that are legally able to collect "up front" fees. It all checked out. I was called daily by them and after doing all my homework I paid them to do what they said they could do. Modify my mortgage. After 3 months and numerous phone calls, that weren't returned, I finally reached someone to find out my cases status. They were just resubmitting it because it was denied and trying again to get the same terms I had already negotiated. Not what they said they could do. They had stated I needed to act right away and they could modify the loan even more then I had negotiated with a hardship program. After asking for a refund I was hung up on. I wrote the sales rep an email and cc'd it to my attorney and the California Attorney General. Miraculously the phone rang and it was him stating the refund is being processed and it can take up to 27 days. Well, we are still waiting on the 27Th day. Be very careful because they will promise you the world and give you exactly what you can do on your own.
