Terrible
The only reason I gave Ashley Furniture Store a star was because I had to to submit a review. My shopping experience there was the worst experience of my life. The furniture arrives in terrible condition, and getting it replaced or getting your money back is a nightmare. Their customer service staff is uncaring, rude and they lie. I purchased a China Cabinet from them costing me 2000 dollars. The quality of the furniture was horrible. It arrived damaged and I was told that an expert would be coming to my home to determine if it could be fixed or replaced. He came and told me that the damage could not be repaired and he would recommend that the piece be replaced. He further told me that he would send them a report and I would hear from them in a few days. They never called me, so I called them several days later. I was told they did not get the report and once they did they would call me. When pushed for a time frame, I was told in three days. Three days later they still did not call so again, I called them. The girl I spoke with this time told me that the report had been there and was there when I called the first time. She told me that the report stated there was no damage to the furniture and that what I was seeing was the natural beauty of the wood. Since I was told something different by the man who wrote the report, I asked to see a copy of it and was told no. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one was not available, so I told the girl I would hold until one was available. She told me she did not know when that would be and I told her I would hold anyway. The call was disconnected after about two minutes. I called back and again demanded to speak to a supervisor. This girl did not let me speak to one, but said she would so once again I held. I finally got them to agree to replace the piece of furniture but when it arrived I refused it as it was also damaged. Again I had to speak to the dispatcher and tell them why I was refusing the furniture and again they tried to get me to keep it. I told them I either wanted it replaced or my money back. Again I was told they would send me another one. The quality of the third one was a little better than the other two, but absolutely not worth the 2000 dollars I paid. I will never shop there again, and would strongly recommend that no else does either. I can promise you, you will regret it. Poor quality furniture and the worst customer service people I have ever dealt with.
