I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I had a brake job done there a few weeks ago and my steering wheel was vibrating at high speeds. Mark told me to bring it in so they could check it out. I did so, he told me that the tires needed to be balanced, which would cost me $70.00 for all four. I decided that I would do this at a different shop. I went to a Big O Tires in Costa Mesa- near where I live. They told me that my tires were very out of balance and only charged me $10 per tire, so that's $40 vs $70? Of course, I needed two new tires, which I got through Big O Tires. Big O put the new tires on and balanced everything again. My car continued to have a bad vibration at high speeds. They thought at first it was the rear axle bearing that was worn, but it wasn't. It was one of the drums that was poorly machined my Auto Care Experts. The drum is now being machined correctly and hopefully this will be the end of it.
I do not think this shop knows what they are doing and I think they price gouge people with their inflated labor rates. It's not really their hourly rate, it's the fact the a job takes longer than it should. Also, they tend to hang onto your car for days on end for a simple job. Oh, but they have free loaner cars. I guess this gives them the right to drag out a job and to charge inflated prices. So, please don't waste your time. If you are a AAA member, always go to a AAA approved shop or look for the AAA sign in the phone book or outside the shop.
