Avoid them like the plague

I think these guys are total scam artists. We have had an annual contract for several (2-3)years. That means they come out every winter and spring to do the changeover of our heater and evaporative cooler. EVERY SINGLE TIME they have come out, without
even one exception, they somehow found a problem that cost between $150 and $600. I repeat, not a single exception. So today the price was supposed to be $169 for a new belt. Why they didn't find the belt during the winter shutdown is unknown. The tech said
he was going to charge me for that plus the annual contract. I told him I wanted to talk to my wife before agreeing to pay the annual contract. He says that today is the first day of the new cycle! So if I don't pay the annual contract, he has to charge me
more. I told him THEN I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO RENEW THE CONTRACT. It cost me $329. Yes, I paid an additional $160 to be rid of these people.
