My husband and I recently purchased our first home and this home warranty came with it (BPG). So to our surprise after being denied our claim we find the reviews to sound similar to our experience, BPG will not honor most claims. WE filed a claim after our furnace is broken (3 days after moving in!), they send their investigators a week later, we hear back from them 4 weeks later to be denied. Their reason, they do not replace/repair anything that was previously not in good working condition. WHAT? How after 3 days of use can they determine this? Our Physical inspection and the gas company didn't seem to tell us this. In short, buyers beware! As far as my experience with this company, I WILL not recommend them to anyone. Poor service, poor communications, poor ethics! Consumers go elsewhere. AS far as if you are purchasing a new home... Please review your home warranty options and if you see this company listed... DENY THEIR SERVICE before buying a new home.
