Accepted money, failed to handle case

0 out of 5 stars. I came in to Clark Kent Wittstruck's office seeking his legal expertise in assisting me with a matter. Payed his assistant for the matter to be handled.
Over the course of the next literally two years I had periodically called their office for updates on the situation, only to be told by the assistant that she'd ask Mr. Wittstruck to look into the matter.
No exaggerations, that is literally how it went for two years. I finally just asked for a refund and they cut me a check. It should be illegal to take someone's money for services and just throw the case into a filing cabinet and string a client along, whilst doing nothing.
