I bought the Sonico Green calling card from Clon Com, and after using it for a couple months, I realized it was running out too fast. So, I timed my phone calls and the charges, and realized that the card was charging me double and four times the advertised price.
For instance, I used a 1-888-access number, and the rate should have been 2.5 cents a minute, but it was either 4.5 cents or 9 cents a minute for different calls.
I sent multiple emails to Clon Com (at least 7 so far), and though they did respond to my emails, they never offered an answer to why I was being overcharged. In fact, they suggested that I was losing track of the duration of my calls.
When I threatened to report them to the BBB and the Federal Communications Commission, they refunded $1.50 back onto my card. I thought that was a pathetic gesture, and I told them that I would like a full refund for my card (forget the previous card that I had already used up, also probably being overcharged).
They would not give me a refund for my card, but offered to switch me to a different card in their line-up, which really didn't help me at all.
I am most troubled by the fact that when you sign on to pay a specific price-per-minute, you don't think to check to make sure that they are following through on their part of the deal. Only when I checked myself did I realize that I was being cheated, and this showed me that Clon Com was taking advantage of me.
I would not recommend this company in any way.

have a way to actually change the rates applied in the calls. In spite
of this, we have provided a refund for the complete US$ 30.00 to the
Visa card, even though the calling card has been used
partially and we are also providing you a US$ 5.00 discount for your
next purchase at our website. Please take into account that since we
are resellers of the calling cards we always need to troubleshoot
every issue with the suppliers, and fter reviewing your case
personally with the provider of the calling card we have agreed that
it was being overcharged. It was never our intention for this to
happen, at ClonCom.com we always do our best trying to provide all the
information about an specific calling card and have the issues resolve
as soon as possible for our customers.
