Very poor experience, do not recommend!!
We had a very poor experience with Coastal Pacific Lenders. They made many promises during the loan process, but did not follow through on their promises. We ended up with a loan servicer with a rating of very poor from the Better Business Bureau (due to the number of complaints, lack of transparency, and failure to honor mediation). Dealing with the loan servicer has been an enormous headache and I deeply regret that I went through Coastal Pacific Lenders. From my experience, Coastal Pacific is interested in receiving the highest commission possible, with complete disregard for the ultimate loan servicer. A simple web search pulls up poor Yelp reviews and many complaints online from the mortgage providers they use, and yet Coastal Pacific continues to send loans their way. Do not fall for Coastal Pacific's promises, they will talk a lot and try to convince you that they can be competitive with other loan products, but in the end they will walk away as soon as they receive their commission and you will be left fending for yourself with nonexistent customer service. If I could go back in time, I would not deal with Coastal Pacific Lenders again (I would have instead dealt directly with a well-regarded bank) and I would caution others to save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

It appears that your negative experience is actually with your loan servicer. While we are not a loan servicer, we are always here to help our customers in any way we can even long after your loan has closed. Even when there is no profit to be gained by doing so simply because our company is built on delivering outstanding customer service. We truly are here to help and it shows in the multitude of 5 star ratings posted about our company. In general, it is common practice in today's mortgage world for loan servicers to continue to sell a loan after it has closed. It can be sold multiple times and there is no way to guarantee who your future loan servicer will be. This holds true for large banks as well. However, if you are continuing to have frustrations with your loan servicer, please feel free to call us and we are happy to accommodate a conference call with you and your loan servicer to help navigate those waters for you.
