Business owners—beware of Corporate Business Solutions.

It all started with a casual phone call: “Can we talk about selling your business? It’ll only take 5–10 minutes.” That turned into a 75-minute high-pressure sales pitch, and the rep flat-out refused to hang up until we agreed to an in-person “evaluation.” We were told it would take 1–2 hours.
Reality check?
Day one: He showed up at 8am and stayed until 6pm. No break. No boundaries. Just a nonstop pitch.
Day two: He returned at 10am and didn’t leave until 3pm. That’s 13 hours over two days for something we were told would take two. And suddenly—surprise!—we’re presented with a $150,000+ “solution,” billed at $500/hour for two consultants.
He didn’t ask if we wanted to move forward—he just told us more people were scheduled to show up the next day. When we said we needed time to think and couldn’t meet again until next Tuesday, he told us we were “not ready” and claimed that fear was holding us back.
Let’s be clear:
We’re not afraid.
We’re exhausted, insulted, and frankly stunned by the lack of professionalism, the manipulative tactics, and the complete disregard for our time and family.
Oh, and when I (the wife) had to leave for a prior appointment, he tried to shame my husband behind my back—saying I was “disappointed in him” for not jumping at the price tag. Absolutely not. I was shocked, yes—but disappointed? Only in them.
We run a business. We raise kids. Our time matters.
This was a massive red flag from start to finish.
Save yourself the headache and say no the first time.
