DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! In early May I contacted Crowley to have one vehicle shipped and another one picked up at the drop off location. I spoke with Shanta, who was confident and reassured me that everything would go as scheduled. The date for my pickup soon arrived and passed and I had not received any calls regarding the pickup. I then received two emails stating that I would be refunded both deposits. I called Crowley to see what was going on. I spoke with Bob at Ext. 105. He informed me that the company was restructuring and that they would no longer be charging the deposit upfront. He said all deposits were being refunded for that reason. He also informed me that I would need to pay more than what I was quoted to have my vehicle transported. I told him I was not interested. A few weeks pass and there are no refunds to my credit card. I call Crowley and find out all phone numbers I have for them are disconnected. I immediately notified my credit card company. They say I must wait 30 days before disputing the charge. In the meantime I am constantly checking Crowley's website and any other sites to see if I can get a phone number for them. A few days ago I find their phone number. I contact them and Shanta answers the phone. Of course she remembers me. She says that she doesn't know why I wasn't refunded. She says she will check on it with the merchant and get back to me. I call her back hours later and she says that a formal request has been issued. I ask how long before I can expect the refund and she gets annoyed and tells me to wait three days and if nothing happens to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I'm not holding my breath...
