to the previous reviewer -- you think an empty lot would do more for your value than a nice new home? It's the entire economy - yes, it's even affected your little pristine paradise, deal with it. They are trying to provide homes for people, and I can guarantee your home would not have been worth any MORE next to a field of weeds.
