I just have moved with Daly (Arpin) from CA to IL. In general the move was very smooth and painless. The loading and unloading crews were excellent, carefully packing, unpacking, disassembling and assembling all the furniture (I have packed all the small items myself). All items got through without a scratch, there is even not a single dent on the boxes. After both loading and unloading there was not a hint of dirt or trash in the apartment.
The person who set my mind on using this company for my move was the appraiser, who came out to my house, actually looked at my stuff and gave me pretty solid quote (which I ended up with exactly). He was very helpful, explaining me every option I have and pros and cons of packing myself versus letting them pack for every single item I was worried about.
The reason I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 was the coordinator. Really obnoxious, she seemed not to care at all about anything that was going on. Hardly answering any questions, rarely giving calls back, messing up documents, forgetting to call me with movers arrival time. (I found out that the delivery crew was coming half-an-hour before their arrival only because driver called me to clarify directions, about 5 minutes before I was to leave home).
To sum it up:
Estimation/appraiser: excellent
Loading/packing: excellent
Coordination: horrible
Unloading/reassembling: excellent
Price: fair
Delivery quality: no damage whatsoever, no lost items or boxes
Will recommend: most likely.
