Really? How are these guys getting 3-5 stars?? We bought a fixer upper and worked with more than a handful of contractors on our new house (landscaping, pool remodel, window replacement, demo, paint, etc.), and we only had a problem with Divine Developers!! The cabinets weren't what we ordered. We wanted glass doors for the top. When my husband tells him they're supposed to be all glass, one of the installers (btw, Divine uses all subcontractors. I believe Ron said the cabinet company is owned by his cousin) snaps at him and says, "Why didn't you tell us sooner?!" My husband said, "Why didn't Ron tell you? It's in the contract, and the drawings we approved even state glass." That was just the beginning ... Our 1-mo. project became 3! After they installed the cabinets and appliances, it was hard to ever get a hold of anyone, finish electrical, or get all the final touches done. Multiple times the electrician said he would come on a particular day/time. Of course, he doesn't. Then, he'd show up unannounced and unscheduled the following morning, when we weren't home, and then he'd get mad. Seriously? You said you were coming over Tues. @ 8 AM. We're supposed to wait 24 hrs. for you to show up? When we complain to Ron or to the electrician, they just say they're too busy and trying to finish up on other projects. Ok? Like that's our problem. Ron even said his guys can be trusted, so they can work on our kitchen while we're not home. I'm sorry, but I don't even trust you, so no, not happening. Anyhow, we had a working kitchen, so we eventually gave up and left it to them to finish up everything when they wanted ... I mean, eventually they're going to want their final payment, right? The only time we really got to talk to Ron during the remodel was when he was trying to get other jobs out of us. He knew we were still looking to paint, replaster the pool and landscape. We said we need to see how the kitchen remodel goes before signing another contract for other work with them. Then, we hardly hear/see him again. He was supposed to be the Project Manager onsite, but it ended up being my husband, who fortunately works from home and was able to oversee everything. Would we ever use them again? No. It just wasn't worth all the hassle. It was a very unpleasant experience. We got what we wanted, but some of the work is shotty. For example, some of the glass tiles on the backsplash are crooked. It's probably unnoticeable to our guests, but when you're in your kitchen everyday, you tend to notice the smallest details. So like I said, sometimes, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
