I had an energy audit today 2-19-11 with eagle shield inc.
the rep used a heat reading gun on the walls and ceiling but did not share the results. The rep went into the attic and said she took pictures but they were never shared with us.
The rep advised she was not telling us anything we didn't know "you are losing most of your heat through the attic".
She recommended we install the foil like insulation provided by eagle shield .
She stated it could block up to 97% of the heat loss from the house into the attic.
I asked for the info in writing or hardcopy. she advised we don't do that.
I asked for any details of what the improvement would be for our home. she said its all on the website , go there and read it.
I read the website for over an hour prior to our meeting but nothing was specific.
This company could be a scam
