After seeing their vacuum on a TV commercial on Sunday, October 23, 2011, my wife asked me to order it. I did and Euro-Pro said it came with a free steam floor scrubber but there would be extra shipping charges. I said I didn't want the scrubber but they said it came as a package (even tho the shipping was extra). Total cost was $268. Within 2 hours I found the same machine at Home Depot without the scrubber for $170. I called Euro-Pro right back to cancel the order and they told me they only handled sales and not cancellations and that I should call customer service on Monday. 14 hours after ordering I called customer service at 0615am PST and was told that the order had already been entered and could not be cancelled. I told them to call the warehouse and they said that I would have to receive the unit and then call for a return authorization. In the meantime, since I asked for one payment, they charged my credit card for the full $268 knowing I was going to return it. Fortunately, UPS allowed me to refuse delivery and request that it be returned to sender. My credit card company has agreed to put the charge on hold. By the way, I dealt with their office in Newton, Massachusetts, not the Chino, California office. They are completely unethical.
