I recently purchased a Shark Rotator Upright Vacuum. A few days later I got the below e-mail from them.
"Thank you for your recent Shark Rotator Upright Vacuum Kit order.
Unfortunately we are unable to process your request in a timely manner. We have been unable to acquire a payment pre-authorization for the amount of $65.88. (the first of four payments)
To prevent further delays, please contact our Customer Service Department, toll free: 1-800-798-7398 Monday through Saturday from 8:00AM to 10:00PM ET, so that we may submit the appropriate adjustments to release your order.
We recommend you provide your account number (2421417) and your order number (M3559438), at the time of your call to allow us to expedite the necessary changes.
Thank you for your cooperation and your ongoing support."
This should have said: Thank you for your cooperation and allowing us to scam you!!
I complied with their instructions exactly to a T and what was the outcome? They (Euro Pro) sent and billed me for a second vacuum.
Euro Pro blamed me for the error and said I should have refused the order. Kinda hard to when your 25 miles away at work. I even offered to keep the second vacuum even though I did not order it if they (Euro Pro) would simply waive the shipping. I figured there were some charitable organizations that could use a new vacuum but no, I got their standard canned answer again.
Euro-Pro Operating LLC and any company that is affiliated with them should not be trusted. They are nothing more then glorified SCAM artist. When you contact their (NON) customer service center all you will ever get is the same ole canned response which is just a nice way of saying: You've been had!!!!
