Thanks to all the people that posted about this company. I was contacted by them thru a direct mail and told I could qualify for a mortgage reduction under the Hamp Tier 2 plan. I sent them the required documents and was told it will take 3 or 4 days to be approved. They stated they would work with my lender and get the mortgage amount reduced, and it would be the same mortgage, account # etc. At this point I never caught the name of this company. They finally emailed me confirmation of being approved but no commitment letter. They wanted some more documents from me along with $3500. Actually, they are sending FedEx to my office today to pick these documents up. They gave me 3 days to get everything together and it would OK if I didn;t send them everything at once. Once I got their email and saw no commitment letter, I immediately did an Internet search and luckily found these reviews. My initial reaction to being approved so quickly was disbelief because how did they have enough time to contact my lender and make such a quick deal. Friday to Tuesday turnaround. I called my local lender and they stated they did not hear from this company and they never would have agreed to it, and I wouldn't have qualified anyway since I'm biweekly. My interest rate is 6% my house is underwater and I was going to borrow the $3500. so glad I read these reviews because I would have been $3500 further in the hole. I emailed the rep yesterday and told her of my concerns, I haven't heard back from them and probably wont. Thank you for warning the rest of us of their deceptive practices!!
