DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM FITNESSBLOWOUT. They have the WORST Customer Service possible and I do not know how they stay in business. On February 15th, I placed an order with a sales rep (Alan Layfer) for the NT Fold-Away Treadmill as well as the BodyCraft Corner Gym and Leg Press. I was very happy to receive an email just a few days later on February 22nd saying that my order was in the process of being prepared to ship via Estes. This email simply stated my invoice number and just noted that my "fitness equipment" was being shipped. I assumed by this terminology that both my treadmill and the corner gym were on its way. On March 1st, Estes delivered 7 boxes weighing around 600lbs. The boxes were wrapped in plastic and very heavy, so heavy that I couldn't lift them. I assumed that the 7 boxes included both the treadmill and the corner gym as stated in the delivery confirmation emails. I even had an email conversation with Sandy Martinez voicing my concern about getting them in the house as Estes said they can only do a curbside drop-off in which I mentioned the delivery of both the treadmill and the corner gym, to which she replied with the weight of the boxes. She did not once say the boxes didn't include both items. I took the day off of work to accept the delivery and I took another day off of work to wait for the technician from the assembly company I hired to put together the two machines. I had to hire an outside technician because I was never offered the "White Glove" service even though I voiced my concerns to Alan, the sales rep, about assembling the items myself - especially an entire corner gym. Once my technician arrived and opened up all the boxes, we realized there was no treadmill. You can imagine my frustration and confusion as I was under the impression after reading all of the emails FitnessBlowout sent me that the corner gym and treadmill would be delivered in one shipment. The initial email I received after placing the order stated one order number and listed both the treadmill and the corner gym. Each email after that confirming delivery stated the order number and only the tracking number - no specification on what the order is. I spoke to Alan the sales rep as well as the general manager, Steve, who stated that because they were made my two different manufacturers, they would come in two separate shipments. Now, my question is, why didn't Alan tell me this upon the purchase as we did this on the phone and second, why don't any of the emails state that it is coming in separate shipments. There is nothing written on the website about this separate shipment policy. If this is general knowledge as Steve so rudely repeated to me during our call, why isn't it also in writing on their website under "Policies." So I now had to take another day off of work to receive the treadmill delivery AND another one for the technician to come back and assemble the treadmill. I prepaid for him to assemble both pieces and I cannot get a refund. I understand that FitnessBlowout offers both pieces at a discounted price but with the days I have had to take off from work and the time/frustration over this entire process does not cover the money that I supposedly saved from ordering with this company. I wish I can just return everything and get my money back. I ordered the products from one company-FitnessBlowout-who charged me one flat fee on my credit card so I would assume it is coming together in one shipment. Even though they offered me a laughable $50 credit, it does not make up for the lack of attention to detail and the rudeness of the customer service department. Also the credit they supposed issued over 10 days ago has yet to post on my account and none of my messages have been returned. To make matters worse, the technician couldn't finish assembling the corner gym because one of the seats came damaged. The alignment was off making it impossible to screw into the system. Steve transferred me to the voicemail of a customer service rep to leave a message requesting delivery of the new seat back. He called me back and left me a message saying I have to reach out to the manufacturer directly. I was livid at the lack of attention in the customer service especially after the whole ordeal with the shipping. When I called to speak to a customer service rep and tried to explain the situation, he kept telling me the same thing rudely over and over until I became extremely frustrated and just asked to be transferred to the general manager, Steve. This idiot refused to transfer me at first saying Steve would tell me the same thing and I should just deal with this myself. When I asked him for his name, in a patronizing voice he started to spell his name "G-E-O-F-F-R-E-Y." Thankfully after this horrifying experience I received a call from the director of customer service, Augustine Pizano who very kindly offered to email the manufacturer for me and copied me on the request. This simple act was the only decent customer service I experienced with FitnessBlowout. I am extremely upset with the lack of customer service at Fitness Body. I wrote an email to the president -Jim Rosen explaining the situation and forwarded on all the emails I received so he can see for himself what I experienced and I have yet to receive a response. Judging from the incompetent customer service team at this company, I'm not holding my breath. I will never be ordering anything again from the company nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. The lowest rating I can give on this site is 1 star but I promise you it is worth 0 stars. Please save yourself the aggravation and shop elsewhere.
