Review 2/10/2010
This company should be shut down. My next complaint will be to the Department of Transportation. I've read the other reviews and pretty much, mine matches the others with "Mike aka John", Edward, Carrie, Mia. Mike was very rude and unreasonable. My original quote was for $925. After they had all my things on their truck, I was then told it was $4100! Please note, that my apartment was less than 700 sq. feet and I didn't even own a dining or living set, so all they had to move was bedroom furniture, boxes with clothing, dishes, two small bookcases and a few minor items.

My advice to anyone who finds themselves dealing with Five Star are as follows: #1-Find another company, #2-If you do happen to contract with them, and they increase your price after your possessions are on the truck just call the police and #3-DO NOT let them leave the property! Once they're gone, you're screwed!

It was actually Mike's idea for me to call the police and it's the best thing he could have told me!

They are a horrible company that should be exposed for the crooks and con artists that they truly are. If you want Mike and Edwards phone number, let me know. I have both of them!

Stop the bait & switch! There was nothing positive about this experience.

Furthermore, I'm convinced that the positive reviews about this company are false and placed by their friends and family - my opinion.
