I called on GH builders to give me a quote for a small job, but after meeting them in person, I knew I wanted them to tackle SEVERAL projects I had in the wishlist queue. From the get go, their level of professionalism gave me the confidence that my husband and I could do these projects despite our hopes for an aggressive timeline (being 8 months pregnant!) and a fixed budget. All the horrors I've heard about doing home renovations seemed like a joke compared to my experience. Things could not have gone more smoothly. One example- I was supposed to meet the project manager at 9:00am and he called at 9:02 to tell me he'd be there at 9:05. I figure there's an inevitable :15 window for california traffic, but that was incredibly respectful! He was creative, caring, and communicative, and all of his team members were very respectful of our house and our privacy. I wish I had more money saved, I would love to keep the projects rolling!! Here's to next year!
