The key is keep communication with your financial institution. Don't wait until it's bad to then try and work something out. Don't pay out money to some unknown party who claims they can help you. Listen very carefully to each phone call that comes in to you claiming they can help you most of these people claiming they can help are scams. Work directly with you financial institutions to work out the problem.
