Masters at OverPromising & UnderDelivering
"If you are considering GhostWritingXpert/ ContentWriting let me save you A LOT OF MONEY and even more stress. They are the epitome of overpromising, under delivering and flat out lying. I began working with them on a current events / science research book and every deadline was missed by weeks. When I did get send writing it was worse than a C student in high school and with straight up plagiarism. Don't expect quality writing help--you'll have to write it yourself. I thought I would at least get help but it was a waste of time. I don't know why I gave them a chance to illustrate a children's book I wrote. While their artists are very talented, it was a VERY difficult process as there were 5 different artists that created 5 different types of characters so it was hell to get them to be consistent. The worse thing is the flat out lies. They will be very nice and reassuring as they 10-100X their charges. For example, they urgently needed $500 to get me a Library of Congress number because "I wouldn't able to get in 24 hrs without them" but I was able to get for FREE within a day. That's just one example of many. Proofreading? Forget it. My children's book is only 250 words and they charged me $2500 for 200 books with 6 typos a piece. Their worst manipulation yet was the LA Times Festival of Books where they expertly manipulated me to believe my book was selected out of 67 other children's books to attend the "Biggest Book Expo" in the country where authors from "all over the the world are dying to get in" AND I "won't get in without their help" and NEEDED to pay them 4k to secure my spot as they would do all this extra design work to help me stand out including a TV playing the trailer of my book. I arrived to an old table, no TV, no decorations--NOTHING. I sold 20 books which doesn't even scratch the surface of the 4k they charged me to be there. There are professional scam artists with a fancy site and testimonials that I can't fathom. Don't expect any support / guidance as a first time author. Their job is to get you into contract for a price that's too good to be true so they can manipulate you constantly. DON'T FALL FOR IT. They have caused me a lot of stress this year--if you're reading this take it as a sign to RUN AWAY!"
