My contractor experience has been a mix of great, good, average, and bad. But Glenair takes the credit for worse contractor by far. To say the least, I was very disappointed with the service quality and customer service.
It started with the technician not listening to me as I described the problem. Instead, they replaced the parts that were not broken. When they left, the problems had not been resolved.
My attempts to call the company back out and fix the issues were unsuccessful. I called and left messages 5 times over a two week period and never received a call back! After two weeks, i was able to contact a woman at Glenair who finally did schedule an appointment. I arranged for someone to meet the technician and they never showed up! A call to Glenair and they stated they needed a return form from my home warranty company. They claimed to have told me this. However, why did they make the appointment if they didn't have the paperwork? They never told me they needed paper work from my home warranty company and never called to cancel my appointment.
A quick call to my home warranty company uncovered that I didn’t need to call. The home warranty company said Glenair should have called them directly. I asked for a new contractor, but my home warranty company refused. They state that since Glenair has started the work, they have to finish
This contractor doesn’t listen to its customers, return phone calls for weeks, or take the initiative to provide good customer service. My recommendation - do not call this company to do any service for you. If your home warranty company sends this company, ask them to send another company! You will regret it if they start work!
