On behalf of our team, I want to thank Global Resources and specifically Thomas for all their hard work over the past month. Thomas and his team brought a data-driven approach that I have not seen in prior engagements with outside consultants. They pored over the last two years of our reports, and one of the first things they tackled was completely overhauling our reporting process. It made sense, as they stressed, we essentially had a “garbage in, garbage out” system as the status quo. I was shocked when we reviewed the first couple of weeks of accurate data. Jobs we previously believed were profitable were actually losing money. That is when it became clear we needed to keep Thomas and his team onsite as long as necessary to fix our underlying issues. I am not sure we will be finished by the originally estimated timeline, but we have no concerns about extending the engagement given the secondary problems Thomas has already uncovered.
