If you can possibly help it do not do business with this so-called property management company. They are liars and thieves. I'm not just saying this I have documented every bad experience I've had since moving in to one of there properties and it has been a nightmare. It all looks good on the outside. Maintenance/fresh paint, etc,etc,etc. But scratch the surface and you'll discover these people are the worst of the worst.

I live in a unit consisting of four apartments. I've seen three people move out, and each one has cited "H&J" as the reason they were leaving. One guy told me a receptionist told him to "get a life" when he asked them to fix a broken air conditioner. It's one of those things you would immediately dismiss, but knowing what I know I have no reason to doubt it. They lied to me regarding paying for trash and other issues regarding my deposit. Every person that moved out told me H&J ripped them off for most of their deposit. I mentioned things looking good on the outside. One gal had her ceiling falling in and they refused to fix it until she had moved out. I saw this myself. They've come so far when I've had problems but I suspect it's because they know I won't take a lot of shit from them.

Unfortunately ripping people off and lying to them seems to be standard operation procedure. What really pisses me off is thinking about how many veterans, like myself, they are fucking over. Especially disabled veteran. If there are any out there I'd like to hear from them.

Also it's clear the city of Riverside and HUD don't give a shit how many people like this take advantage of people.

If you see an H&J (Heyming & Johnson) for rent sign... ...KEEP WALKING!!!

To give you an idea to their character they've now got a system for paying your rent online: “PayLease Inc.” It costs TWENTY THREE F-ING DOLLARS for each debit transaction. Three dollars to let them have direct access to your checking account. (Like I'm going to let that happen.) It only cost me a dollar and fifty cents to pay my Gas online. I requested a reason for the discrepancy. I haven't gotten a response yet other then them telling me they were raising my rent.

And, which doesn't say a lot, but they've got a D minus rating with the BBB Business Review. What would it be I wonder, if EVERYBODY who should have, actually filed a complaint?

The biggest disappointment, however, is Edie, the office manager. All sweetness and light to your face. But you really have to wonder about somebody who is “only following orders” And working for scum like this in the first place.

And like I said, lying and ripping people off passes for normal behavior for these pirates, and worse, passing for normal by its victms and American society as a whole. How pathetic. God Bless Amerika sheeple.
