Worth the time and effort

It only took us a couple of days to see the value of IDS’s insights and strategic plans. Before they even started, I made it very clear that the goal has to be better cash flow management. I left it up to them as to how they wanted to attack that but I was specific in what I felt our goals should be. I only reiterate this because we have tried the process before with another company and it was a failure both in time and resources. That being said I was blown away by the dedication and almost immediate results they were able to deliver on. That may say more about the inefficiencies we had but none the less within the first two weeks we noticed a visible improvement in how we conducted business. Most of these wins were from streamlining specific tasks that over time we allowed to overlap different employees. Optimizing our workflow paid almost immediate dividends an I am now convinced that by the time we finish our engagement we will be in a much better position than at any time in our previous history. I will probably update our review once we have completed the entire process but our initial success was enough to make me want to leave one now.
