We engaged International Services Inc. at a point where we were busy but didn’t have a clear understanding of what was actually working and what wasn’t. Their consultant spent significant time learning our business, reviewing our financials, and asking questions that forced us to look at things we had been avoiding. Once the numbers were laid out, it became obvious where inefficiencies and profit leaks existed. The process of identifying UDEs and putting real values to them changed how we prioritize issues instead of reacting to everything at once. We were introduced to tracking tools and structured meetings that helped bring accountability to both management and staff. While there is still work ahead, we now have a foundation, better visibility into our operations, and a much clearer direction than we had before the engagement.
