Bad place to get a gift card from!!

I receive gift cards EVERY holiday and I got one today for Valentines. This was the first time getting one from "notsofab" I went through tons of shoes finally picking two pair and was happy because at checkout it said Buy one get one half. I TRIED checking out but it kept asking for my credit card # and there was no option to pay with a gift card..I searched their site and of course way down at the bottom in small print it gives gift card info. I clicked that and entered my gift card # and then, THE CHECKOUT TOTAL WENT UP! I finally just called them and the rep was NO HELP. She kept asking ME questions like she called me! It was useless but apparently if you're there shopping for the first time with them as a "gift recipient" (AKA, they cant have your credit card on file) you aren't crap and those "super cool deals"DONT apply to u! NEVER.AGAIN.
