Beware of this outfit. We were shocked when Just Stucco and Windows came to estimate the cost of repairing our parapets. Either the owner does not know anything about parapets and/or roofs, or he is running what can only be called a scam. He spent very little time on the roof, made comments like "Well, it's obvious your house is worth a lot of money." And "I'm sure you want to protect your investment" and "I'll bet you folks have worked hard all your lives so it's hard to give you such bad news." He announced that he is a roofer (despite the company name "Just Stucco and Windows"), and started disparaging the roofing itself. When we told him the roofing was only four years old, under 20 year warranty, and the roofer had been very responsive and helpful, he quickly backed off. His further comments made little or no sense. This was our 4th estimate for the parapets and we had done quite a lot of research before we began getting estimates, so we weren't totally unfamiliar with roofing and parapets. But this company came so highly recommended by AngiesList that at first we didn't suspect what was going on. He left saying he would send a parapet estimate within 48 hours. I asked him to also send a list of what he thought was wrong with the roof so we could ask the roofer to tend to it. When it dawned on us he never gave us the "bad news" that he began the discussion with, that he actually had said the parapets weren't in bad shape, we realized he had intended to sell us an entire new roof! Beware!

We are sorry for the late response to this complaint, but we were not aware that this complaint has been posted on Trust Link until today. Therefore, we would like to take the opportunity to respond.
We believe our company is one of the best in Albuquerque. Our number one goal is to be pleasant and respectful to our customers and help them as much as we can. Our company has never received a complaint of this nature on Angie's List, and we don’t believe we did anything wrong. Ms. L reported us within 24 hours of leaving her home. A job this serious cannot be estimated in one day. We won’t take on a project unless we believe it can be done correctly.
