3 months and still no package!!!

I ordered an item from kid advance on the 16th December 2011 and understood that it may take slightly longer than the 4-10 business days shipping information as it was the Christmas holidays. On the 19th January I contacted them to advice that it had been over a month and I still hadn't received it. I received a return email telling me it had been mistakenly shipped to Europe instead of the Middle East (how that is possible, I don't know!?) I followed up on the 29th January to say I still hadn't received it and my email went unanswered! I emailed again on the 5th February and was told to go to my local post office because my address was probably undeliverable!
I live in Dubai and the postal service here is unlike any other I have ever known, in as much as there is no head office and no main sorting branch, so I really have no where to go to ask if they have my parcel! On explaining this and asking if kid advance could contact the shipping company (which they did when they found out it had mistakenly been shipped to Europe) I was told this was not possible and for me to try at the post office (even though I have explained this is not possible either!!)
Kid advance no longer want to offer any kind of customer service that may help to resolve this issue and I have emailed the shipping firm 3 times, with no response now from anyone!
It is now 3 months later, I have spent an awful lot of money and haven't received my package - I am disgusted with the service from Kid advance and USPS!
