It is simply false advertising for Lifesource to claim:
"The LifeSource Beotron system conditions water without using salts, chemicals or magnets. Your water will be smooth and gentle, not slippery. You’ll never have to worry about corrosion to pipes caused by salts."
Within one year of using the Lifesource system I had to replace the heating elements on my water heater because of hard water calcium buildup, and after two years I had to replace a shower mixing valve from the same hard water problem. Lifesource failed to return calls and respond when questioned. Their system is fine for taking impurities out of the water but it has NO VALUE in regards to water softening and it's promotion as an alternative to a water softener is just not true and should be pulled.
