I had moved one town over, and being raised in the area, I always believed in supporting local businesses. A rep came to my house, and we chose a product we liked. we got a call back a couple days later, and were told the material we picked was on back order. They were steering my wife to the 'next line up' for an extra $300.00.
I called them to see what the difference was and what the warranty was. I was told by 'Linda' that the warranty was the same, but the materials were better. I asked how the materials were better, and after a few dead air seconds, she said 'the material is just better.' with no explanation or details. Working for a very large Western State contractor, I found this odd-not knowing your product that you 'specialize' in.
Due to a bad vibe about these folks, we decided to hold off and explore other options, while they had a VERY large deposit check in their possesion. When my wife called and told the owner we would like them to send us back our check, he turned a 180, and said 'I won't do that-you can come and get it!'
I took time off work, and went to the location during normal hours, and no one was in the office. After several and repeated phone calls, my wife got a hold of one of the owners, and he was very, very rude and disrespectful to my wife. When I called inquiring when someone would be in the office so I could get our deposit check, all I got was a voice mail-EVERY TIME.
To this day, I have never recieved either a call, or, my check.
I would not recomend this place to do any businesses with, as they seem to love the bait and switch technique, and get very rude if you have any questions about their product, or if you want to talk to a live person, or if you need an open office to address any concerns.
