I found the owner (Dave Hamilton) unwilling to paint my 1995 BMW at the advertised special on TV for $229. It only needed painting because the clearcoat was deteriorating, no body work was required. Dave said he needed to take off the rear license plate frame, the windshield washer nozzles, and several other items that would cost extra ($200 extra!.
When I explained I didn't want any extra work, just the advertised paint job, he became belligerent and began yelling and told me to "get out of my shop" .
Based on this encounter and the lack of any satisfaction from my contacting the MAACO Company about honoring their advertisement, this appears to me to be just a bait-and-switch activity.
