Review 1/29/2011
First of all, I will start off by agreeing with a few of the other posts that the movers themselves were courteous and worked well at the pick-up and delivery--although we did have some damaged items, so I'm not sure where along the process that happened. Natalie provided us with a quote and was nice as could be in the initial part of our search for movers. I provided them a list of items and they provided a quote, and once we decided to move forward with them, they told us to have some moving tape on hand for the movers to use to tape/package certain items.

When the movers arrived, first thing they said was our tape wouldn't work, so they had us buy supplies off of them that were, of course, more money. I was quoted about $1500, and our list that I originally provided of items to move wasn't far off yet the actual price ended up being about $4000. They already had all of our stuff packed in the truck at that point, so we really had no choice but to continue on with the company. We called them to let them know when we wanted the delivery, and they agreed and told us it would be there within a two-day window and that'd they'd call in advance so we could arrange to have someone home to accept delivery/etc. Those two-days came and went with no phone call or update from the company. I finally called them and they said they had truck problems in another state so they would be delayed by up to another week. And then four days later I received a call when I was at work saying they'll be at our house in about 20 minutes. Mind you, I was at a new job after moving and on top of that, we were out of the office at a conference that day (which I didn't think was a problem since they were supposed to give me 24 hours notice). When I told them I wouldn't be there to accept delivery, they actually tried charging me MORE money saying I was causing the delay now! I called to complain, and they connected me to the transportation manager who could not only hardly speak English, but was rude, arrogant, unbelievably disrespectful, and told me, the customer, that it was my fault and that if I wanted them to tell me the exact hour, minutes and seconds to deliver our stuff, that's what they'd do--but they'll still charge me extra.

Utter and sheer shock at how this unprofessional moron of business worker could talk to customers the way he did. He eventually knocked $100 off of our bill--but NEVER would I EVER EVER recommend this place to anyone. How they are still in business is beyond me. On top of all the BS we dealed with, our completely wrapped up couch ended up with a giant crispy soiled spot on the side of it, among several other damaged items.

Using this company would be a massive mistake--look elsewhere as there are several places to choose from.
