My garage opener is almost 9 yrs old so I think the chains were slipping a bit off the gears. Basically, it wasn't opening and closing to the right positions. I tried to fix it myself but I made it worse, causing the chain to pop off the gear and breaking a small part in the process.
The All Valley Distributing made a house call and was able to fix it extremely quickly. I had to pay more than the negotiated price, but only because the gear set had to be replaced.
I also appreciated the fact that they answered all my questions about how the whole thing worked and what opener they would suggest I buy as a replacement later. I highly value that sort of education and free advice so I would use them again and recommend them to my friends (just maybe do a little more research beforehand).
