Unbelievable!

My husband and I purchased verizon phones from Wirefly 11 months ago and chose the additional protection plan for our phones from MDPA. The manufacturers warranty from Verizon ended on April 18, 2013. On April 17, 2013 we receive an email from MDPA stating that there was a problem charging our credit card and our plan would be cancelled. I contacted them and we have since then been cancelled. I subsequently contacted the bank and they show no record of any such transaction or declining transaction for the month of April. However, since May of 2012 each monthly transaction was successful. My conversation with MDPA on April 29, 2013 proved unsuccessful because they claimed they tried to charge my card but could not explain why their system could not complete the transaction. My bank clearly stated that there was no such attempt made. MDPA stated that they would contact wirefly to "expedite" a resolution and would e-mail me the outcome (really?). I can not explain why this would happen on the very eve of the end of the manufacturers warranty from Verizon. Is this a coincidence? If they do not cancel us (which I doubt), we no longer wish to utilize the services of MDPA which cost us $172, and did NOTHING for us but decreased our checking account balance. Stay tuned....
