Got Stabbed By Pliers, Nail Chipped, Wanted More $$ Despite Poor Experience
|
On 12/9, I was stabbed with pliers all the way through my left middle fingernail (through the nail and skin, drawing blood), and the tech quickly shoved glue into the wound and placed the nail back in the hole before attempting to cover it in acrylic. When I took issue with this, I was reassigned to a new tech who finished the job, but the concerns about getting an infection in the cut nail still persisted. A week after I got my nails redone, they chipped. Today, I made a 3 PM appointment to get the very small chip on the corner of two fingers fixed (I’m talking SMALL). I sat on the couch for 15-20 minutes just waiting for a nail tech to take me, then I was informed it would cost me $10 to fix the very small crack. After paying $75 for nails that didn’t even last two weeks, and being stabbed through one fingernail with pliers. When I informed the manager at the front desk of this experience, she very dryly informed me that she had “no notes” on that incident and that I would have to pay for the fix, regardless. Then the tech I was assigned said she would have to redo both fingernails, which would take an additional 30 minutes that I did not have. All of this over a small corner chip.
