We sent my sister here about 4 years ago. Before we sent her we looked researched many different places. We wanted to try something different this time because a 12 Step hasn't worked in the past. We came across Vista Bay and sure there is some negativity on the Web about it but as we researched and researched and talked to people there, we decided to send her anyway and took a leap of faith that what VB was saying was true. I am glad we did-I thank God everyday that we sent her there. The things that I see on the internet about how "bad" this place is makes me upset, this place has like a 76% rate and it seems that it is only the 24%, that don't make it, that are posting on the Web.
This place saved my sister's life. Before she went into Narconon, I thought I had lost her, the girl that I grew up with, the one who I looked up to and always looked out for me and when she was 15 she became someone so different because of her drug use and as the years went by I thought she was gone but she wasn't, just buried beneath the surface.
She is almost 4 years clean and this is the happiest I have ever seen her. She is amazing, she is about to graduate college and has her own place and is working full time as well. I am so proud of her and everything she has accomplished.
My parents and I are able to sleep at night again and not lay awake in silence waiting for that phone call that she is dead. She is back and I thank God everyday for her life and her joy.
