My experience with NALN was not so good. I received fliers in the past and thought nothing of them. One day I decided to check out the company under the BBB. I saw that it was a legitimate business so I decided to give it a try. I spoke to Pierre Montalvo. I sent in three required documents one day. The next day or two a message was left so I called back and was told by Pierre congratulations on the interest rate reduction from 7.95 to 2.00%. I was so happy. He emailed me copies to sign by the X. As I reviewed the documents I noticed the interest rate on documents was 2.09% and the amount to refinance was more than what I owed. I emailed Pierre to explain why the difference. I never got a call back. The documents information added 2 more yrs on my loan. Since he never called me back to explain I decided I did not want to go through the loan after all. Two days later I called NALN and asked for his supervisor. I was connected to Xavier. I told him I was waiting for a call back from Pierre as I was worried about my personal info. Xavier told me that when loans are cancelled they destroy the personal info. I told Xavier that I would have appreciated a call from Pierre with an explanation on the loan terms. Sorry, but I do not approve of a company who has employees that don't seem to care. This reflects greatly on the company.
